There's just something about shooting in the winter. Exploring the city with a fresh layer of snow on the ground, fewer people are out and about, it almost feels like I have the city to myself. It was snowing on my way downtown and I was really excited to shoot in the blizzard that was currently swirling around my car. I met up with some friends and we ended up on a rooftop with amazing views of downtown, but as we reached the top of the roof, the snow turned into rain. The roof began to fill with water, soaking our shoes and spotting our lenses. I was able to wipe the droplets off for enough time to snap this photo of the Water Board Building before we descended back onto the streets of Detroit. More information listed below!
