2017 was another rollercoaster year. I was still recovering from the accident that left me unable to walk, which drove me to shoot as much as possible. Not only was I shooting with a new full-frame DSLR, I finally took the plunge into analog photography. I had shot film when I was a kid, but I hadn't touched it in years. You won't find any of my analog photos here, but I've posted complete rolls in the analog gallery. I graduated from the University of Michigan in the spring of 2017 and began working at Wayne State University. Working in the city I had spent so much time in perviously was surreal, and I shot almost every day. I burned myself out a bit though, experiencing many sleepless nights in my car before realizing that I didn't want to do manual labor forever. It was around this time that I was involved in another accident, one that changed my life far more drastically than the first. Towards the tail end of the year I was able to get back into pursuing my work as a photographer, but it still didn't feel the same as it once did. I am trying my hardest to get back to that feeling, but for now this will have to do.
